Delivery Service Company

Hi there,

This is my first post ever, and I was wondering if I could get some feedback on an idea I've been thinking about. It kind of similar to Uber Eats but it would be to deliver a package or goods to someone you know. For example, if you have to drop something off at your friend's house but you don't have time, I would pick it up and drop it off. I, unfortunately, don't have an app since I'm starting my delivery service now but I would give the customer my number and share my live Whatsapp location as I deliver the package(s) for reassurance. I'm not too sure how else I would give reassurance or if even this is a good idea where people will use it. I live in Toronto, Ontario if that's something.

Let me know what you think please, any help is appreciated.

What would your rates be? How do you monetize?

That already exists. It's called Pickups On demand delivery

Check out Dunzo, it's a service being run in India.

I think it’s a good idea especially if people are self isolating or just busy. Question is what kind of insurance would you have? What if you break the parcel or are in an accident or item is stolen in your possession?
