I wanted to see if anyone is having issues with accessing in-network healthcare because of relocating due to the pandemic. I figure that some small business owners or employees may be going through this.
It seems that there may be potential health insurance glitches people face if they relocate from their home town or city because of the pandemic to work remotely in another area. They may run into trouble if they work for a smaller or regional employer because their health plan may not have a national network of providers.
For example, if someone who moves from Virginia to telework from Long Island where they have family to take care of, for example, might not have access to in-network doctors or hospitals.
Has anyone come across this issue?
