Scheduling app/program

by jahzoom. Posted on Sep 15, 2020    3    7

Aiming to start a small Auto Detailing buisness. I would like to have an easy to use program for scheduling and organizing transactions, clients etc..

What do you guys think would do the trick for this?

Nothing complicated. Something that can be used interchangeably between computer and cell phone would be great.

Thank you!

SimplyBook.me is a good option as they have a lot of custom features that you can tailor to your needs. You also get a fully functional booking website, if you dont have a website already (or you can use as a widget if you have a website). With them your clients can book on your booking website, on your facebook page, instagram profile or via Google. Then you can manage your clients, send emails etc.

The best part is that their Live Chat is live 24h during the working week, so whenever you have some question you can get answers right away

You need more than a calendar and billing app. Something like https://www.repairshopr.com/auto-repair-shop-software might work.

Programs/Apps I recommend you look into are FreshBooks, Quickbooks, Zero, Jobber, And Wave. A lot of these companies can give you a demo of the product/services they offer which is nice.

Salons and Barbers use this, but it would probably work for you, it has PC and Mobile integration and they offer SMS reminders for appointments, there is a monthly fee though.

I run an auto detailing business and have been using Square. It’s not perfect but it works good enough and you can integrate it to your website/Facebook/instagram.

Scheduling apps were the bane of my existence why I was finding one to work for my company.

There are a ton of them out there and they offer a varied set of features which may or may not be necessary for your business.

What I ended up doing was just trying any of them I could find. What works for you may not work for me. So we just kept trying stuff.

For your purposes, I’d be most interested in hearing about what people use in very similar situations.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing for my online educational business.

Check out Square Appointments. It's free, integrates with Square (for taking card payments) and has both a mobile app and web interface.

I'm impressed so far even if I ultimately decide it's not the best fit for my needs, but I'm not sure yet.

I think it could be just right for your business.
